Less is more, even during fashion week! You know me! Although fashion week is all about showing off your most creative and outspoken looks, I do strongly believe in keeping things “simple”. Letting the clothing and accessories speak for themselves, if they’re statement enough on their own, they won’t need all the embellishments. And on top of that, it’s pretty great if you don’t have to put layer on layer, or add too much jewelry when you have to change quickly in-between shows and presentations. It’s time consuming and unnecessary if you’d ask me! It’s all about being selective and smart with you outfit (and shoe!) choices.

Eye-catching, the shoes in this look do just that. The Native Shoes sneaker itself is quite basic, yet the pink is really outspoken. And they make the whole outfit pop! You might know by now that I’m all for the dress and sneakers combo, and I think these pink babies really complement the flowy, feminine dress in this look. Who says comfort and style can’t go hand in hand? What I like is that the shoes can be worn in so many different ways, they’re basically chameleons. I’m thinking my pink suit with a white tee and these Native Shoes sneakers, or with jeans and a fluffy sweater. They’d be really great with shorts too! Anyway, I think you catch my drift, I can wear these during fashion week and beyond, day to night – just the way I like it.
