Ok yes, that oversized trench coat again. I told you I liked it? Have been wearing it so much, hence the frequency it appeared (and will continue doing so) on my blog. I’m sure you guys don’t mind! This time I’m wearing the sleeves down, I’m not sure which version of the coat I prefer (the one above or this one?). What I do know I like, is the tonal color scheme of this look. Not planned at all but pretty good if I may say so myself. Yay for silk skirts and distressed knits (you can’t really tell on these images, but click here to see more of this piece). An outfit that’s all in one color will never be boring if you combine different fabrics and structures, in this case: cotton, silk and wool. I’ve actually wore this exact outfit a couple of times after I shot this look, just because it’s a “I don’t have to think about my look” kinda look – if you get what I mean. Because I’m not always super inspired to dress myself in the morning, especially when I’m at home in Amsterdam. Because most of my time there I’ll spend at the office so no need to dress up. Anyway, this look, for me, is a winner, curious to hear what you think?
