I love the 70s. Like big time. Fashion wise that is, I think I should’ve been born in the 60s (hello hippies!) like my mom, growing up in the 70s. How fab? Although probably around that time, it didn’t have as much as a cool factor as it has now. Anyway, I’m glad it’s back when it comes to clothing. So many ways to incorporate it in my outfits! We had the flares and fringes, now I’m on to the button through mini skirts (stay tuned) and pinafore dresses. And a lot of denim! I feel like I’m only buying those indigo blue colored items nowadays. But it’s too much fun not too. I can’t wait for the real summer weather in Dallas and LA in a few days (!), so I can sport those bare legs every day. I’m slowly thinking of what outfits too bring, what accessories to go for. Hardest thing for me usually is the shoe dilemma. What on earth do you bring for 3 weeks of traveling? I don’t want to carry around too much extra weight, so I should only go for those things I’m actually gonna wear. The same goes for outfits. And knowing, I’ll be adding a bunch of things along the way. I’ve never came back from LA without an overweight suitcase. A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do. And for me, now, these last few days in Amsterdam, that’s work-work-work. Last minute preparations to make the trip runs as smoothly as possible. This also includes keeping up a posting schedule, and I’ve been horrible at that lately. I do have a whole bunch of cool posts lined up for you, so in the little cyberspace I’m not going anywhere!! Stay tuned for a whole lot of awesomeness in the weeks ahead. Can’t wait to share!!
