One day in Manila. Then one day in Shanghai and 3,5 days just outside Kuala Lumpur. I’m at the start of a whirlwind trip through Asia, joining my boyfriend on tour. It’s crazy, hectic and amazing at the same time. While I didn’t really feel comfortable shooting an outfit post here in the Philippines, it felt a bit inappropriate at this time, I did wanted to show you this view (I haven’t seen much more than my hotel in the day I’ve been here, such a shame) and obviously this amazing suede cropped top. Cropped anything over everything these days, whether it’s 35 degrees (here) or 5 degrees (at home) celsius. Looking out over a huge garden and pretty good pool at our hotel, I seem a million miles away from where the typhoon hit just two weeks ago. But I’m not. Quite a short (plane) ride from where I’m staying, villages are destroyed and thousands of people hurt or even dead. I haven’t seen any of it, but I do have mixed feelings about being here. It’s my very first time in the Philippines and it’s been really good, the people are very welcoming and the food is amazing – but obviously something is off. My boyfriend and his companions donated all proceeds (of the show) to charity, supporting those in need. Hopefully everyone who was able to attend could get their mind off of things, even if it was just for a few hours, and enjoy the music.
